If you are interested in a more frequent, more supportive, and comprehensive long-term health plan, our membership plans are the most affordable way to go!

Most importantly we want to encourage prevention through consistent care.  Holistic health care is at its best a preventative therapy.  Keeping your body in balance and free from pain, tension and stress are the goals of treatment, as well as creating optimal quality of life through optimal health. Thought of as a frequent patient program, or a great complimentary health care program especially if your current insurance carrier does not cover our services.

Community Acupuncture Membership Programs

For more frequent and affordable visits, we offer community acupuncture. Community acupuncture offers 30-minute acupuncture sessions treating one primary complaint per visit. Treating patients in a community setting has many benefits — It’s easy for friends and family members to come in for treatment together, patients find it comforting, and a collective energetic field becomes established which actually makes individual treatments more powerful.

Insurance

As a courtesy, we accept insurance assignment and file your claim if your coverage includes acupuncture services. We verify your coverage prior  to your first appointment whenever possible. We electronically bill with the appropriate CPT codes for services within 30 days of each appointment. If your insurance company does not pay us within 60 days, you are then responsible for any balance due on your account. This office will not enter into disputes with your insurance company about your claim. Patients are responsible for any deductibles, coinsurance, herbal formulas and procedures which might not be covered by insurance, such as moxibustion, cupping or massage.

Workers Compensation

We accept Worker’s Compensation (WC) patients. Under California Worker’s Compensation Guidelines, this office cannot be your primary care physician. You must make arrangements for a referral for acupuncture treatments from your primary care physician (PCP), and have the approval (authorization) of your adjuster for that referral. Prior to the start of treatment, we must have copies of each of these items.

Canyon Health Center has been providing treatments to Veterans since 2014. We are committed to providing the highest level of care to our nation’s finest. Acupuncture has been reviewed by the VA to positively affect several pain conditions, including chronic pain and headaches, mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, and wellness indicators such as insomnia.

We are accepted in VA Community Care and can be requested through your Primary Care Provider and Scheduler. Any questions moving forward please contact us.
