Community acupuncture offers 30-minute acupuncture sessions treating one primary complaint per visit.
Treating patients in a community setting has many benefits — It’s easy for friends and family members to come in for treatment together, patients find it comforting, and a collective energetic field becomes established which actually makes individual treatments more powerful.
Wear comfortable clothing and be mindful that this is a quiet zone. All cell phones and devices are to be left in your car or turned OFF.
If you have not been in for acupuncture before, there will be a required initial consultation before you are eligible for community acupuncture. We want to be sure this type of treatment is sufficient to suit your needs, and that you are a good candidate for care in this setting. We want to keep it simple but we also want to keep it safe. For complex cases, we recommend coming to our private session clinic and supplementing with group acupuncture appointments as schedule and budget allow. We are not able to review any lab work or give extensive nutritional or herbal counseling in the community acupuncture setting.
