As a courtesy, we accept  insurance assignment and file your claim if your coverage includes acupuncture services. We verify your coverage prior  to your first appointment whenever possible. We electronically bill with the appropriate CPT codes for services within 30 days of each appointment. If your insurance company does not pay us within 60 days, you are then responsible for any balance due on your account. This office will not enter into disputes with your insurance company about your claim. Patients are responsible for any deductibles, coinsurance, herbal formulas and procedures which might not be covered by insurance, such as moxibustion, cupping or massage.

Workers Compensation

We accept Worker’s Compensation (WC) patients. Under California Worker’s Compensation Guidelines, this office cannot be your primary care physician. You must make arrangements for a referral for acupuncture treatments from your primary care physician (PCP), and have the approval (authorization) of your adjuster for that referral. Prior to the start of treatment, we must have copies of each of these items.  Jennifer accepts out of network assignments and Workers Compensation.

Please contact our office with your insurance questions.
